Lincoln County Schools is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as the Director of Schools. This pivotal role requires an individual with a strong commitment to educational excellence and a vision for fostering academic achievement, equity, and community engagement.

Lincoln County Schools (LCS) is dedicated to providing a high-quality education to all students. Located in the heart of Tennessee, LCS serves approximately 4,000 students across its five PreK-8th grade elementary schools, one virtual school, and one high school. Demographics:
Lincoln County Schools serves a diverse student population, with approximately 30% of students identified as economically disadvantaged and around 15% as students with disabilities. Our district values diversity and is committed to meeting the needs of all learners, providing a rich and inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Director of Schools position will possess:
● A professional educators license.
● A Master's degree in Education with a preference of a Doctorate Degree.
● Three years of successful experience in school administration with a preference to successful Director of Schools experience.
● A proven track record of improving student outcomes and fostering a positive school culture.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
